This course provides an annual update on IFRS® Standards, amendments to standards as well as other considerations that will assist with the preparation of your year end financial statements.

 

Important note – This material excludes the updates to IFRS 17, Insurance Contracts. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify, explain, and apply the key changes to IFRS standards, including: 
    • the requirements for the IFRS standards that are in effect for annual periods beginning on or after January 1, 2022.
    • the changes to IFRS standards that have been issued and are now effective for annual periods beginning on or after January 1, 2023.
    • the changes to IFRS standards that have been issued but are not yet effective.
  • Identify key elements to the IASB work plan and determine the preliminary impacts of proposed changes.
  • Assess the impact of financial reporting changes on your organization.
